exida offers four day CFSE review training process industry applications. Consisting of two courses Safety Engineering I & Safety Engineering II, the four day program is useful as an introduction to functional safety as well as a review for experienced engineers.

2. Honeywell Safety Consulting Services - The Honeywell SMS Safety Consulting Services offers the CFSE-based training program. This program consist of, among other things, the following topics:

• Legislation and standardization on process safety and safety systems
• Introduction to standards IEC 61508, ANSI-ISA S84.01 and IEC 61511 " Risk analysis and SIL determination techniques
• SIS design concepts
• SIL validation techniques
• Safety Lifecycle Management Furthermore, a wide variety of practical industry-based case studies will be discussed during these trainings.

3. Australian Alliance with the IICA: The CFSE Governance Board is pleased to announce its mutual cooperation agreement with the Institute of Instrumentation Control and Automation Australia (IICA). Through this agreement, the IICA will promote the CFSE qualification and collect applications. In return, all IICA members who apply for the CFSE will be granted an AU$50 discount on application and test fees. This will also support both organizations ongoing efforts to improve the practice of safety, measurement instrumentation and control for the benefit of their members and the broader industrial community.
